·      Open competitions are open to amateur golfers over 18 years of age and hold a current CONGU handicap (not suspended ).

·      You must be a member of a recognised golf club.Non golf club members will be charged the entry fee plus the daily green fee rate.

·      Junior boys with a single figure handicap may enter the Brotherston 36 hole open.

·      All entries must be completed online or on the official entry form accompanied with the appropriate fee. No other form of entry or incomplete forms will be accepted.

·      Competitions will be played as per the rules of the R & A, but subject to the local rules of Dumfries and County Golf Club.

·      No competitor will be eligible to win more than one prize. In the event of a tie, the winner will be decided on the inward half then the last 6, 3 and so on.

·      Trophies shall remain the property of Dumfries and County Golf Club and be retained in the Clubhouse.
