Standard Cup Foursomes Matchplay
Doonhamer first friendly matches
We are off to the formidable Southerness Golf Course on the 17th of April for our first friendly match of the season. This is a highlight in our calendar as we tackle the championship course against an experienced home team of welcoming and friendly faces. We are hoping to return a more positive result than last season.
On the week following on the 22nd we are off to our nearest match with Lochmaben. The matches with Lochmaben have all been closely contested and have ended in great camaraderie.
These matches allow friendly competition and rivalry but also allow for friendships to blossom. A real benefit to being a member of the Doonhamers at Dumfries and Galloway Golf Club, where everyone is welcome and golf and fun are to the fore.
